The family of Mayberry Presbyterian Church is committed to ministries of service. Our motto says it all: A little church doing big things. As a church and as individual members we constantly seek needs in our community and our world, then focus on ways that we can help. Everyone can do something, from support through prayer to physical involvement. This is our journey of faith - to serve others.
Our areas of ministry include global, local, and financial missions.
Hearts for Heaven
Community Ministries Committee
Monthly meetings of this committee are open to everyone. Through our monthly Community Ministries Committee meetings, we have identified three areas of special need in the Meadows of Dan and Patrick County communities. These areas of outreach are the Meadows of Dan Elementary School, drug addiction, and services for the elderly. To plan our efforts, we have invited community leaders with expertise in these areas to speak to our group and help us help those in need. Check the church calendar for our next Community Ministries Committemeeting and join us in service.
As a church and as individual members of the church we work with a variety of national, state, and local organizations and groups to share God's love and to serve our neighbors. See our Community Outreach page for more information about the many ways we are involved in service and care.
In addition to our regular offerings and benevolence giving, we collect special offerings for designated tasks.
